Blackberry Iced Tea
A refreshing, naturally sweetened iced tea infused with fresh blackberries. Perfect for warm days and outdoor gatherings.
Prep time: 10 minutes | Brew time: 4-6 minutes | Chill time: 2-4 hours | Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 6 c. filtered water
- 5-6 tea bags (black or herbal tea of choice)
- ½ c. fresh blackberries
- 2 T. raw honey (or to taste)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Additional blackberries and lemon slices for garnish
Preparation

Brew tea: Bring water to a boil and brew tea bags for 4-6 minutes according to package directions.

Add fruit: Add fresh blackberries to a pitcher and gently muddle to release their flavor.

Combine: Pour hot tea into the pitcher with blackberries. Add honey and stir until dissolved.

Cool: Add lemon slices and fresh mint if desired. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour chilled tea. Garnish with fresh blackberries and lemon slices.
Variations
Serve hot by skipping the ice or add fresh basil instead of mint for an herbaceous variation.
