Easy Keto Egg Roll in a Bowl
All the delicious flavors of an egg roll without the wrapper. This easy, low-carb skillet version is ready in just 15 minutes and makes an excellent weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 2 T. sesame oil or avocado oil
- 1 lb. ground pork or ground chicken
- 1 medium head green cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 large carrots, julienned or shredded
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 T. soy sauce or tamari
- 1 T. rice vinegar
- 1 t. fresh ginger, minced
- 2 t. sesame seeds
- 2 T. fresh scallions, chopped
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Preparation

Cook meat: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking up as it cooks, approximately 5 minutes. Drain any excess fat if needed.

Add vegetables: Add chopped cabbage, carrots, and garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.

Season: Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger. Stir to combine and cook for another 1-2 minutes until flavors meld.

Finish: Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and fresh scallions.

Serve: Divide among bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy as is or with your favorite dipping sauce.
Variations
To give “Egg Roll in a Bowl” a spicy kick, add ½-1 teaspoon Sriracha or hot sauce to the soy sauce mixture.
