Sesame Garlic Wings Recipe

Sesame Garlic Wings

The ultimate flavor fusion of garlic and sesame, perfectly crispy chicken wings that delight every palate. These mouthwatering wings are sure to be a favorite.

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 35-40 minutes | Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken wings, tips removed and separated at the joint
  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 T. sesame oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 T. soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 T. rice vinegar
  • 1 T. honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 t. Sriracha or hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 T. sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 2 T. fresh scallions, chopped, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Prepare wings: Pat wings dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. Bake wings: Place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes until the skin begins to render.

  3. Make sauce: While wings cook, whisk together sesame oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, and Sriracha in a small bowl.

  4. Toss and finish: Remove wings from oven, toss with sauce, and return to oven for another 15-20 minutes until crispy and caramelized.

  5. Garnish and serve: Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with sesame seeds and fresh scallions. Serve immediately.

Serve as an appetizer or main course with your favorite dipping sauce or fresh vegetables.
